Darla Morse has joined Frankin-based CKE after about three years at Inspire Brands, which is headquartered in Atlanta. At CKE, she will oversee a tech operations and infrastructure team that will look to support the company’s growth strategy.
“Darla has extensive and valuable food industry experience that will help guide the evolution of our company and our brands,” said Jason Marker, CKE’s CEO. “We’re thrilled to leverage Darla’s technology expertise to drive efficiencies internally, externally and among our franchisees.”
Before her time at Inspire, Morse was CIO at SeaWorld for six years and held a number of tech roles at Disney Parks and Resorts. She has replaced Stephen Carvelli, the former CTO of Lowe’s who spent about a year and a half at CKE before leaving last November.
CKE runs more than 3,800 Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s locations in 44 states as well as in 43 foreign countries and U.S. territories. The company moved its home office to Franklin Park in Cool Springs from California in 2016.
